My name is Kaitlyn Ray. I am the founder and doula with Holistic Hope Doula Services. I am working on my studies to become a doula specializing in prenatal care, labor and birth, and postpartum care!

Located in Greenville Texas, I come across many women who are pregnant and don’t have the tools in their toolbelt to navigate labor, birth, and newborn care. Helping these women unlock the tools is my job.

A doula by definition is‍ a trained, non-medical professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a person before, during, and after childbirth. Here at Holistic Hope, we go a step beyond the definition and provide ongoing spiritual support no matter what. ‍

The Bible calls women to teach and train each other in the ways of the Lord. There is mention of birth support all in the Bible. In Genesis 35 there are women there to comfort Rachel as she gives birth to Benjamin.

My passion and goal is to create an environment where women feel safe, heard, and respected during the birthing process. Through prayer, holistic pain management, and many more methods, we want to make birth as comfortable as possible.
